| History of the TVA Memorial Award |

![]() Travis Victor Alexander, one of our teams most dynamic, unique and beloved leaders was taken from us tragically and unexpectedly on June 4, 2008. Shocked and saddened by his death, but wanting his influence to live on, many of the team leaders were independently thinking of ways to honor and preserve Travisʼs memory. One day, Randy Moore, Co-Founder of the Moore Success Team, and an upline Platinum to the TeamRenew organization called Chris Hughes, Travisʼs sponsor, best friend and mentor. He suggested that we create an award to honor Travisʼs memory, that we could give out annually, to one person on the team who has overcome much adversity in life, and raised him or herself up from from a low place in life, to the higher planes of limitless possibilities. Both Randy & Chris agreed it was an excellent idea. Randy delegated the assignment of selecting a candidate and creating the award. Which he did.
Chris selected one of the leaders on the team who he thought would be a great candidate and approved it with Randy. He contacted the award company to have the award made, and arranged to have the award sent directly to Randy Mooreʼs room in OKC, OK to be awarded at the Moore Success Team breakout session.
At the breakout, Chris Hughes was on the schedule to talk about Travisʼs life, to show a video slide show and then bring up Randy, Ken and Jeremy Moore so that they could actually give the award out. When they came up to give the award, instead of giving it to the person Chris & Randy originally discussed, the Moore Family gave it to Chris instead. The Mooreʼs, working in conjunction with Sky Hughes, Chrisʼs wife, as well as the trophy store, pulled a fast one and had Chrisʼs name engraved on the award instead. Chris was completely stunned by this unexpected turn of events. Moved to tears, and as best as he could, gave a beautiful acceptance speech and publicly shared his love and adoration for his good friend Travis.
The Travis Alexander Memorial Award will be give out annually at the team breakout.
